Sharanya Rameshan

I’m Sharanya, a passionate professional with a diverse background and an enthusiasm for life that extends well beyond the workplace.

Sharanya holds a degree in Commerce and has built a successful career in the investment banking sector, where she has worked for nearly 14 years. In November 2021, Sharanya made the exciting decision to move to Australia, seeking new challenges and opportunities. Since arriving, she has embraced the insurance industry, starting with a role at an insurance broking firm. Over the years, she has learned a great deal about the industry, its complexities, and the changing landscape. Every day is an opportunity to grow, and is always on the lookout for new avenues to explore and expand my expertise.

Outside of her professional life, Sharanya has a deep love for the arts and sports. She is a trained professional in Indian classical dance and have had the privilege of performing on various stages and events in Sydney. In addition to dancing, she also find joy in painting, capturing the nature or some abstract designs.

Sharanya is also a certified NSW cricket scorer, and has been scoring for some club cricket tournaments, combining her love of sports with a meticulous attention to detail. Cricket has been a huge part of her life, and continues to stay actively involved in the sport.

In her free time, Sharanya loves to push her limits—whether it’s trying out new sports, exploring new destinations, or going on adventurous treks. The spirit of exploration drives her to constantly seek out new experiences, be it through travel, outdoor activities, or connecting with people from all walks of life.
